This is how I see it: I broke some rules, I lost my sig and avatar. I don’t break the rules anymore, I get my shit back.(at least I think that second part is right…is it?)
edit and what happened to my “I want Choda in my BigHands” title? I lost that too? Wtf.

it was a gen auto thread for ACTUAL ADVICE, if it was anywhere else it’d be fine really lol and it just happened that when the points added up from previous infractions, the sig was lost.

In case any of you schmucks are just tuning in now, we have an infraction system. You get points for being a fucker and doing things like over the top flaming (especially of new members) or going OT in a real thread. These points are just like points on your license, in that they expire. Worse offenses last longer.
If you have 4 points on your “NYSpeed license” you automatically lose your sig and avatar as punishment. If you have lost them you must wait for enough points to expire that you fall back below 4 active points.
So yeah, don’t be a fucker and you get to have your sig back.

Inappropriate language - 1 point - 30 days
Sucking at the internet - 1 point - 45 days (lots of reposts, wrong forum, etc)
Classifieds prefix missing - 2 points - 30 days (never using FS, WTB, etc)
General classifieds misuse - 2 points - 90 days
Unwarranted flaming in auto forums - 2 points - 120 days
Going off topic in auto forums - 2 points - 120 days
Signature rule violation - 2 points - 180 days
Spamming - 5 points - Permanent
Dude, I haven’t heard schmuck in forever. Now I’m going to use it daily… thanks alot, lol.
I really miss the rep system the forum had when it was first started,it was a blast and I think it should be given a 2nd chance.
