This doesn’t make me a turbo expert but I do work with turbos every day. Stop thinking so hard. Boost is controlled by the wastegate. Not some magical thing that just does whatever it wants.

Vote 1 to get nick alero out of modding cars
Well if someone else would like to try to find a boost leak at the cost of free, I will gladly oblige. I did what I was told to try and found no leaks in the system. So if there is still a problem, something else gave out, its not a boost leak.
Could be a leaky manifold gasket
Or your wastegate spring could be whooped
or your turbos whooped
DO all the maintenance it needs and then just fucking drive the thing
Well at this point I’m giving serious thought to what would suffer from sitting for 2 weeks. The car was making 20psi the day i stopped driving it, then all the sudden it was only making 15 when I started driving it again 2 weeks later. At this point I think I will just replace parts the least expensive thing at a time until I find the problem.
It was the humidity…it was always the humidity
How did you check?
I pressurize from the turbo inlet (about 20psi), than use Snoop (soapy water stuff) and spray it on all my connections, works every time. Now only if I can get a throttle body that doesnt leak at the shaft seals :lol
I pressurized at the first j-pipe right after the turbo and blocked off the bottom of the pipe so air wouldn’t just piss out the turbo outlet.
Pressurize the whole intake manifold, fuck it
/ thread, for realllllllll
I blocked at the throttle body too :lol
Fumbles lol RC is best ever.

It kinda sounds like a wastegate problem if you “dont have any leaks”.
Sounds like a “NickAlero shouldn’t own a 20 year old turbo DSM” problem.
