Nicks 69 RoadRunner

Im getting in a little late with the pictures on this but better late than never…This was my daily driver in the summer for a few years until gas started to get out of hand and the car started to look too tired. Its originally a south carolina car with numbers matching 383 big block and tourqueflite 727 tranny. When I got it originally it was in bad shape back in 98 for 1800 bucks. We replaced from the window pillars back new quarters, trunk floor sheet metal wise… it got a new fibreglass six pack hood and other ornamental crap.

But after driving it for 3 summers straight it was getting tired and needed work so I parked it til I could afford to help it out and now is that time. Interior is getting re-done…Motor is getting a total makeover the 383 is tired and is taking a rest on the engine stand in place is a bored 30 over 440 with the high flow 906 heads and keith black pistons. Also new headers and summit electronic ignition.

Theres alot more going on but we are just on the motor for now heres some pics to see whats going on thanks for lookin

good lord get the drums off the front. ours was as manual as you can get… 4 speed, manual brakes, manual steering and drums… now its an auto with discs in the front… next is a power booster.

Clean car, more pics as it comes along, please!

Also, Cutty, I was thinking the same thing…why not do (IIRC) a Kelsey-Hayes 4 piston disc swap?

Nice Cars, I just got done restoring my dad’s 70 Charger R/T V-code, pistol grip 4 speed, Dana 60 car. What a machine. Black exterior w/ Brown interior. He’s owned it for 30 years and put 7500 miles on it. It came w/ power disk brakes. We got 2 more 2 do now that are all pretty clean. It’s nice to see other Mopars int he area. Good luck and looking good.
