acctually nissan consult is an ecu feature that was build in on most nissan ecu’s from 1990+ . er ecu has tx rx and clock output look at ecu pinout . U buy a bord and software and hook it up . In 240sx with ka24de there is acctually a plug already. Consult requires a translator board i got mine for (45$) there is some for 100$ i even heard of wirelless ones. And than u hook it up to ur computer and run software (there is a again freebies and payfor ones). Its mainly to monitor but u can shut off cylinders 1 by 1. fool ecu into advancing/reducing fuel and timing , self diagnose sensors etc Again mainly diagnostical tool. I do have a chip burner :E and a chipped ecu so i can acctually use other software called rom edit to adjust what i need while monitoring
it also datalogs
