Nissan Motor Co has agreed to buy a 34 percent stake in Mitsubishi Motors Corp, taking de facto control with a $2.2 billion bet that bails out its smaller, scandal-hit rival.
Alliance partner Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi have combined sales of about 9.3 million vehicles, approaching those of industry leaders Toyota and Volkswagen AG
Now if you said bring back the Starion by using the Z34 chassis that would make sense (almost).
And if you want to pull off the retro thing at least go back to the 70’s; modernized 240Z and Galant GTO MR on a shared S platform would do that trick.
GTR driveline should be $80k alone. The whole car costs $100k and after two years of ownership I’m fairly certain the rest of the car couldn’t have cost more than $20k.
