Nissan Motor India Private Ltd (NMIPL), as part of its growth strategy to introduce nine models in India by 2012, on Wednesday launched its acclaimed and iconic sports car Nissan 370Z in India.
Kiminobu Tokuyama, Managing Director & CEO, said, “The 370Z has been conceived as an ‘Everyday Sports Car’, bringing to life the sweet spot of performance, style and value, which symbolises the DNA of Nissan cars. We believe that 370Z will create an aspirational value for Nissan brand in the country as we gear up for the launch of our first made in India car in 2010.” The 370Z comes with a two-seat layout built around a deeply scooped instrument panel with a full-length centre console separating the driver and passenger’s seat. In the rear is an open cargo area with enhanced storage and accessibility. The design focus incorporates a ‘layer concept’, with an information layer, an operation layer and a holding layer. http://xs.to/image-4439_4B5A6FCF.jpg
The Nissan 370Z comes in eight attractive colours with two interior leather colour options (Persimmon Orange and Black) available in both manual and automatic transmissions (A/T).

Cool! …Nothing like driving on the streets with roaming cattle everywhere in a Z370!!!
Does it come with somekind of cattle ding protection? LOL!!!
Actually it wouldn’t be so bad in the city of Bombay/Mumbai but I can’t see someone driving that around the villages and dirt roads… By the way for anyone that ever has a chance in their life time to visit India, do it! Mumbai is great and southern India has some realy beautiful places to visit and a variety of cultural things to see and experience, as well as many historic places to visit, it’s a great place to go explore.
With all due respect to the orignal postetr, you should open a “nissan-india-forum.com”. The 370Z is crazy old news for us BUT if you are tryin to get across that India finally getting a Nissan sports car then I sort of understand. And if thats the case congrats and I hope India gets more sports cars in the future. I would think India would have some really nices one already and this is just an addition.
