Nissan Vs Megan Racing

Hello

I was looking at the Megan Racing control Arms, Ball joints, Tire rods inner and outer what is the difference between them an Nissan ones. Nissan Ones Looks a lot stronger to me.

Thanks

If by Nissan you mean OEM, the difference is that the MR ones are fully adjustable.

Yes i do mean oem But Rack ends and Tie Rod Ends just got one adjustment for alignment am i missing something.
The only real difference i c one is black Oem and one is powder coated blue.
But i do see your point with the control arms thou. Is it worth it wouldn’t a good set of coilovers give yah all the adjustment yah need?

Thanks

Megan, as well as many other after market tie rods use a pillow ball solid mount as opposed to the ball joint used in the oem rod ends. They give you more steering angle and supposibly give better responce.

Unless you going to be tracking your car and will be needing to dial in specific race alignments, full multi link is not needed for the street. A set of adjustable RUCA’s will suffice if your lowering your car significantly.

traction arms are a good thing to invest with if u get rucas they allow the most adjust ability for ur toe. Toe ends u dont need

oem will last ten years… all the imported cheaper stuff like megan and some of the stuff i sell does not have that kind of longevity.

If you get three years out of any of it you are doing well.

keep in mind this factors in that the people doing this kind of modification obviously drive way harder than normal people.

The rod ends on all imported suspension arms are very poor quality, the sleeves are usually fine.

true, Nissan stuff or basically anything from the manufacturer
tends to be of high quality, gotta keep with the rep of longevity
and reliability. My 89’ 240 seems to be in really good condition with all it’s
suspension components, I guess the previous owner didn’t drive it much. Especially in the snow…haha, like I am doing right now :S

Toyota’s stuff is pretty bulletproof though compared to others.

Sorry Bing, but… FAIL.
