That sucks!

Sucks to hear.

Funny that since they brought the new 1125R out a year or two ago, I have only seen one of them on the road, and only a week or two ago. The older Buell Lightnings, Firebolts & other models are seen rather commonly.

The 1125R was a nice piece, though.

my neighbor’s got a firebolt, pretty nice bike

ouch. hopefully MV can continue on as well outside of the Harley financing.

There was a video on autoblog about this yesterday. You can hear by the tone in the video how Erik Buell feels about this. Its a shame, they weren’t bad little bikes.

Sad. I’ve always been a fan of those bikes, especially since Buell was born in Pittsburgh and is a Pitt engineer.

they are fun bikes to ride a old friend had one for a long time and it was very fun bike to throw around its a shame

its all fun and games till you run one into a garbage can and almost meet ur maker

honestly what did you expect from a manufactor like harley? the ppl that buy harleys werent really thrilled about having a sportbike in their family. Buell should set out on his own and leave harley for the bandwagon. Doing this could possibly allow for a decent product. If they came out with a bike that could be compared to a CBR and etc i would personally consider it since id rather give my money to america then japan

def sad to see. espec after what that Geico-backed team had done in AMA. ppl were pretty hyped on that.
