I love that the jump from 09-10 is the largest by far ever, that’s encouraging. Shows we’re really making some smart decisions. Really makes you want to go to work and pay your taxes and buy tons of shit to stimulate the economy. I’ve always liked the idea of a large scale social experiment where a good part of the population loses their job (voluntarily or not) and goes on welfare. What better way to break a system than with force, and what better time than nowish?

I’m pretty sure he was definitely implying a direct correlation; Isn’t the fact pretty well established that wefare recipients get paid more based on how many kids they have? Put another way: isn’t it pretty well known that many people on welfare have more kids intentionally to get more money? The chart is annual welfare spending, not number of recipients. But either way you look at it it’s still direct correlation. No, obviously babies aren’t filling out their own applications, their parents do it for them
