i like the north hills, but i live with my rents. too expensive otherwise. if you dont like mcknight road, stay off it. there are about 2 million other ways to get where your going. if you decide to sit in the traffic, you deserve what you get.
how do i get from downtown on grant st. to cumberland road on the other side of mcknight from passavant without coming up mcknight road?
Instead of McKnight Rd exit, Get off 279 at the very next exit, Perry Hwy by the PAT bus station and take Perry Hwy all the way down to Magoo’s and make that right and ur there

I-279 to McKnight/Evergreen exit. Take the Evergreen ramp instead of the McKnight ramp. Take Evergreen down to Babcock. After you pass Euro Styles East, make a right onto Thompson Run Road. When you get to Mascari’s, make a left onto Duncan. Follow Duncan to Babcock (near North Park Lounge) and make a right onto Babcock. Less than a mile down the road, make a left onto Cumberland.

ya. i live on thompson run, its parallel to mcknight(and goes to cumberland) so thats how i usually get around. but Be_Rad’s way works as well

if i go to perry hwy, i make a left? off the exit and go how far? last time i made a right and ended up back at the exit off of 279going the wrong way :smack:

get off at the Perrysville Exit, make a left onto Rt 19, and follow it, through West View and Ross, until you get to the intersection with Cumberland (there’s a Sunoco on the right). When there’s traffic in West View, this way can be worse than McKnight…

make a left off the Perry Hwy exit…follow that all the way, winding through West View, past CCAC North…make a right at Sunoco and ur there
if u take perry get off at cemeteary lane, and take itto babcock, then make a right go to thelight at monte cellos and thats thompson run, take that to duncan…evergreen is quicker i think

Get off at McKnight exit but stay right to Evergreen. Go down past ese then make the right at Monte Cellos 
onto Thompson, go all the way down to Mascaris and make a left. Go down past Laroche and you know the rest
FYI, that 4-way stop at Mascaris/Duncan Manor blows donkey dick and theres usually a line of cars the way you would be coming from but thats not nearly as bad as all the lights on Perry Hwy
