north park

does anybody go to north park and do there auto-x thing usually on sunday afternoons i know they had them last year and they just repaved the whole parking lot at the swimming pool that always looked like fun…

I’ve done a couple autox’s with NHSCC in the past. It was always really bumpy before. Thats awesome they repaved the parking lot. I’ll have to hit up one of their events this spring.

NHSCC is the club that’s helping me with my Auto X in August…They’re doing all the “mechanical” part of it.

i did one a few years back before it was repaved.

ill be there a few times this season and a lot of the scca events at beaverun. also ill be at a few of the BR autox’s at beaverun and hopefully an EVO school.

I’ll be there with sticky tires this time hopefully hehe. Yea the parking lot at north park is nice now since they paved it

I know they are haveing an event there sunday March 28. It is where they give you leasons. I think it is like $20. I will be there…just have to decide to bring either the WS.6 or the GTP???

ws6 will be a better car for autox. although it might be a little tough to learn on that car. maybe not though. ive never autox’d with a rwd that had a good bit of power.

i’ll be there on the 28th if i can get new tires by then

i went last year and the higher power rwd cars did really well with high and mid 50’s on the course i’d take the ws6

first oPen lapping at BeaveRun April 1st! That should get you all in the mood for auto-x:)

north park is :greddy:

why is NP:greddy: ?

what is some more info on beaver run’s 1st open track day, im guessing you have to have a tracking licence how do you go about getting that?

no need for a track liscence. all you need is a snell 95 or newer helmet and a car that is safe for the track. a completely stock car is considered safe. you just need seatbelts and secure seats, good tires and brakes, and no excessive fluid leaks.

and some more money cuz you’ll be payin for your instructor too
