Not Mine, but looks like a sick deal 01 BMW 325xi 5-Speed

Just saw this looking around on eBay, seems like a pretty fantastic deal. I have no relation to this item, just saw it and figured I would post it up for anyone looking. You could likely offer like $4900 and get this for under $5K.

Wow I think you’re right. I ran the vin through carfax and it came up as 325i and I ran an '03 325xi and it came up as 325xi. My dad has an '01 325xi, if I was home I would check his door label.

other xi models dont say xi on the tag either

$5500 is a steal for that car assuming it’s in good working order with a clean title. I just got $4200 for my 96’ 328is with 180k.

BMW are one of a few brands that KBB is kinda meaningless…BMW are much more desirable than KBB thinks.

Probably need some maintenance, looks like factory cooling system still, probably stock clutch as well.

Otherwise 135K miles… price might be a little low, but I don’t see anyone flipping this for profit.

Would make a nice WNY daily.

anyone else notice the rear bumper all scrached up and the rust bubbles?

bmw’s tend to rust in unusual places, lol.

regardless, its sold…

^^its all over craigslist for his area…idk if its sold ‘now’ though.
.

BTW, can anyone help me out and let me know, how is bmw’s AWD system compared to Subaru…

it has all wheel drive, i just checked the option codes.

i still don’t understand why someone would want a BMW X car. I’ve heard that their AWD system sucks…and your awd bmw isn’t going to get through much more snow than a 2wd bmw with snow tires.

A bmw x with snows will handle fairly well in the snow and still retain some what of that rwd feel in better weather.

Their AWD is just like the rest of their cars- sets the bar in their class.

XDrive can transfer up to 100% torque to either the front or rear axles to maximize traction.

And yes, snow tires allow damn near every car to be driven in snowy conditions.

I wouldn’t say it sets the bar…the quattro system is pretty damned good. It really depends on its purpose, quattro will out handle in the winter Xdrive will win on the track.

it was relisted on ebay
