Hehehe, this made the money into the car ALL worth it.

This black, what looked to be Nova, with a lifted rear end, HUGE hood scoop, straight pipes, racing stripe, and tachs and gauges wanted to mess with me. So off the light we go, and it’s neck and neck, once I slapped it into 3rd, I pulled away nicely. Dude didn’t even look over and wave or smile or anything, just drove on. I think he was major embarrased that a 4 cylinder just kicked his ass. Hahhahhaa, I was laughing for a good 5 minutes. lol.

I smoked one of those early 90’s thunderbird se (the v8 one) on Monday and the old guy driving was choked. I love beating things with my black bolt on hood scoop. Rice.

hahaha that sounds like a kid i used to work with…always bragged about his hurtin nova…i never actually saw it but another guy that did see it described it to me an that sounds like its his, could u tell if it was a standard?

Not a clue. The dude looked to be somewhat spanish or other dark skin. Or he was just one hell of a tanned white dude with black hair. lol.

The problem with those cars is the weight. They don’t weigh anywhere near what a 240 does - if both weights were equal it likely would have been a different story, depending on how healthy his motor was, of course.

That said, well done Aaron - it IS nice to prove there IS a replacement for displacement. :E
