Nova II Needs Wheels (siqqqq)

it was fucking snowing this week!

Once we get some nice weather they are done for. Maybe this weekend?

That leads me to needing wheels…post up your thoughts!

I get amped over NGK parts too!!!

Obviously the best two options IMO.

Billet street lites are siq too.

I was considering doing a 17" wheel on 28" drs as a possible option as well… give it a bit of a pro touring look that will still rage pretty hard

Get something that isn’t a “flavor of the month” wheel. Get something you’ll practically never see:

Here Drew, 50+ pages of sick novas. There are some really nice ones in this thread. I know they are later models, but you get the point… http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=184396

I really love the Weld Vstars, but $500 a wheel sucks. LMK when you fggts are in the garage, I will swing by.

We were out there but mostly just crushing beer last night. I changed the plugs and it does run a ton better now. Still would like someone to look at the “tune” and see whats up. Maybe we toss it on Johns dyno and see if it will make 300hp lol

That is the wrong generation nova!!!

Mine is the 62-67 style

I know wrong generation, but close enough!

This works…

Very much goodereer

I am so torn. I really like both the classic look and modern looking wheels on the car. FML

Weld magnums.

This style looks a lot better though

i have a set of greg weld prostars with skinnies and DR’s if youre interested. 15x3.5 and 15x8 275 Hoosier DR on the back. really nice shape.

cant go wrong on a staggered wheel setup if you want less sidewall…like a 17/18 combo or something…5 spoke, maybe a torque thrust, ridler, etc

.

I actually have prostars in the 15x8 kicking around. I have draglites 15x12’s on there right now. I would like to stay around 10-12" wide. Probably going to run a 28" tire in the rear. But I am just starting to look

Get one of these, oh wait…

I vote for anything that doesn’t look like it was picked out by Chip Foose. I like the look of the very first set posted on the red car.

Agreed! Tons of reallly tacky wheels on classics.

You like the middle one of the first set i posted?
