So I’m stuck running between 11.170 and 11.190 for like the last 20 passes now
I just got a retune that afternoon beofre going to NYI with a descreened 85mm truck maff that I ported, lol. Mike tuned it is a few hours on the street, the cruising is mint. Decell was tough when it gets basicly no airspeed. I can do a burnout at 6600 RPMs clutch in and just sit with the TB closed and it dosn’t stall and goes right into a nice low 850-900 idle witch is mint for a big cam. And WOT was right on in 3pulls, the cars up like 12whp, and my car dosn’t show impressive power gains for anything. I tested like 4 intakes, 3 TB. Everything and as cast, and ported, (still have some more work I’ll be going on them). Its wasn’t any great air or anything so it should go faster still, but I guess I should be happy how consistent it is for a 6speed car.

Studderin time for more gear?
Little things, one the the headlight motors got stuck stripping out the gears. That turned off the dash lights thinking it was daytime. Got the dash lights to work so you can drive the car and see, unplugging them after manually moving the motor. So need to fix that. Then noticed checking the tire pressure the smell of gear oil, and the axle seal looked funny on the diff side like its pushed out? And was leaking a little. But for a little while now a few times the car looks funny doing burnouts. Like one wheel isn’t spinning the rpms it should, and just dosen’t mach the sound. I’ve never really watched his burouts, but nick mentied somthing about it last year and I can see it in some videos now. Only made like 2 passes, gona look into it mon, but think the diff is damaged. 4th dosn’t go in easy anymore lately too.
haha,:pimp: I got the the end 1st, but it was like a 10.8 to my 11.1 with 10mph on me, but didnt get it in 4th good. Only 95mph in the 1/8 I had 97.5
I should go to a 4:88 gear, But I’d rather just find somone with a 26 etdrag I could use that would work for now. I’m gona be putting my heads on soon, and need the gear to mph with that power at least 456s
