Current : '03 CBR600rr. -1/+2 and a 520 conversion. Powdercoated various things and debaffled the stock exhaust. I really just haven’t been on a bike that handles as well as this. I love this bike.
my first which i still own and plan to give to my brother when hes 18
97 yzf600r =) no idea how fast it is but according to the speedo, going down hill (really steep) i hit 179, and before everyone bombards ME im aware on how this isnt possible and GPS is more accurate, but it was still extremely scary and fun
Bought my 1st from DTKim in winter 02 after I blew the engine in my 01 cav:(.
93 FZR 600 - Blue
I never bothered to fix the plastics since I was not going to keep it very long.
That being said, I still have it. It looks much different now.
I took off the front fairing stuff and replaced the lights with a smaller set and replaced the speedo with a vapor computer mounted to the only remaining part of the front fairing stay. I also took an angle grinder to the terrible looking rear plastics and fender.
I just need to figure out how to turn part of my OEM broken sides into a belly pan.
wow that does sound bad. Maybe i got lucky with mine? or i just havnt riden it enough to encounter any issues yet? idk. Hopefully i wont have problems like that. So far its smooth as silk.
I will say though if/when i ever trade this one in the only other model i’d be interested in buying is a kawi. I rode a 600rr and it just didnt fit me, sat on a yamaha r1 and that didn’t feel comfortable to me either although i love how they look. I sat on an ealier 2000 ninja 600 and that thing was super comfy. Didnt get to ride it but it felt real nice.
What do you think my 750 would do in the 1/4 with you driving it willy? (i’m taking my humble self right out of the equation lol) All i have is a pipe and a power commander which isn’t far from stock hp wise. I’m def hitting the drag strip this summer
when you build a bike to your own liking, you tend to not wanna part with it as much. I will def miss this bike for sure, but i know he will take good care of it.
10.3+ with a really good run, most likely 10.6ish…
Mine said it only had like 7k miles, but the a friend of the previous owner told me it was far more than that (after i sold it I found out and it made sense if he would have changed the gauges)…
sportrideronline has 1/4 numbers (with better than avg riders) btw, im just guessing at yours.
