lol. Thanks guys.
um hai !
I had a 05 600rr mr.willybeen!
Comparison to my 636:
Night and day.
The 600rr was nice because it had an electronic fuel gauge, under the tail exhaust, but past that, the performance was soo different. The front end felt loose, the bike didn’t have the “pep” that I feel with the 636, and to be honest with you, the 636 just looks soo much better IMO.
As for sportbikes, I will never buy anything but Kawi.
Although the new 600rr’s are nice, but with a price tag of 10k…I can’t justify buying one.
Bought it in March last year and put around 8.5k miles on it. I don’t plan on ever selling it. But i would like to pick up another one after i pay it off.
I’ve been buying a lot of goodies throughout winter so far, so i’m going to be pretty excited come spring. BTW Will, I picked up a GPR
^ In all honesty Tim, I think when you redo you’re wheels you should go neon green.
636 wins for power. Obv.
I do feel as if I “fit” better on the 636, but I’m so used to my bike that it doesn’t matter. It’s def more comfortable riding position than most with the exception of a harder seat.
Wheelies are for irresponsible, sneaker wearing, curly haired, insurance salesman. :mamoru:
I got the 05-06 wheels, Chris, going get them powder coated this weekend to match the forks and my pazzo levers
gold/black?
mmm dude that is gonna look awesome!
Hell yea it is. Looking forward to it. Need to order my tires this weekend too.
I’m waiting till the weather warms up so I can take on my front wheel off and have freewheeling mount my tire, it’s too cold to even bother trying to work on it now lol
TIM  to the parts, pic up a set of pilot powers and see how much different the bike feels (vs, your oversized 5k mile dunlop take offs)
Im planning on the PP’s, i found that competition accessories sells them in a pair for 280 with free shipping. After that i think im done spending money. Picked up a BMC race filter for $70 too, thought that was a pretty good deal.
Will, we should get a group together and see if we can get our suspension done.
qft…night and day with pilot powers
check sportbiketrackgear.com for tire prices, they are normally the cheapest lately, then cross reference with denniskirk for fast shipping and non-80 year old shelf life tires.
quit talking why?
Tim doesn’t need new tires?
He just likes running racing slicks
Slicks w/ flat spots FTW!
THEY WERE SOOO UNSAFE… alll season. :ohboy:
^^quoted for truth?
They’d hold up at least one track day.
I’m lazy btw guys, and I am probably going to wait till spring to do all the work on my bike. So I’m thinking we all get together once the weather gets nice, Beer/BBQ/Teenagegirlsrunningthroughsprinklers, and then work on our bikes.
