how are you claiming FTHB? Didn’t you inherit a house a few years ago?
it was in a trust with two of my uncles as custodians until I turn 25…there was some paperwork involved but I got cleared
So my wife is one of those people at the IRS that you are all complaining about. I can assure you from the stories I see on the other side that there are a lot more assholes on this side of the phone than hers. Just sayin…
Mine is in error resolution as well. Have not heard anything yet and it has been about a month.
Yeah mine is in the same situation. It has been 5 weeks since I submitted everything. I called a couple weeks ago and they said it could be an additional 6-8 weeks. If they do find a problem they have to mail me everything back to fix it even though I submitted it online. Gotta love it.
I wasnt complaining about the service reps per se. I was complaining that nothigng gets done. Im sure she deals with assholes every other call, I am not one of those assholes. I was polite every single time i called and never got impatient with any of them. Im just saying that some of them were helpful nd some of them weren’t, but even the ones who were nice still coulnt do anything in the end, so it all seemed like a waste of time either way. Anyway, checked the website today, guess im gonna be getting it on the 28th…supposedly.
Just got mine today, also I have used the Turbotax Premier torrent for a couple years now. I still pay 20 bucks to efile the state return…
One question, how did you find out it was in the errors resolution process, just because it took this long and you have not gotten your refund yet? Or can you check it out on line somewhere? I ask as me and my gf both sent in our info electronically the same day and i got my fed refund back but she has not gotten it yet and we always get them the same day direct deposited.

I got mine today, so it was it got red flagged for no reason. Oh well.

After 3 weeks I called the IRS and they told me what happened. They may have a way of checking online, but calling didn’t take to long. I was on hold for maybe 5 or 6 minutes and the call was pretty quick and straight forward. They ask a fuck-ton of questions to prove I’m me, then told me I had to wait longer.
No, my accountant did them, not sure what program he uses. Tomorrow will mark a week since I’ve gotten mine so maybe I’m just being paranoid over nothing
Call the IRS for answers. They are surprisingly nice about trying to help you understand what’s going on.
I just called and it says they are mailing it to me(I had elected for direct deposit) and I will have it in the next 10 days. No errors were found. I am very confused.
