I wrecked my a car a lil bit ago and had to get a new rim so i have 3 old beat up flat black rims and one nice shiny gunmetal rim.
So i figured it was time to get new rims, ill use my old one for the track, and no they are not bigger. I was going to get 18s but tires would be an arm and leg for them, so i just stuck with 17s
o and when is the next meet, i saw that the one in OH was cancelled due to weather, did you guys get a new date yet.

Sounds like enough reason for me. I think your car would look odd if it had 18s on it. 17s seem to be enough for it. And I guess the previous owner really fucked things up before you got it?
As for a meet, I was thinking of doing something much smaller next month. Maybe meet down at the Waterfront, hang out and do a big-group dinner at Uno or something. I am also beginning to plan another large meet but that probably won’t be until July/August.

Ya i would def. be down for mini meet at the waterfront, i would like to get a couple of the mazda from the area some next week and get some shots with new rims on. Maybe some of the spots where you, mike?? and Levi(the Jeans) went.

Yeah, that sounds cool to me. I should be free next week. I don’t know if Rob (third guy with the blue sedan) is going to be able to make it since he’s suppose to work some crazy hours all next week. But let me know when you go down there.
Just curious, did you know Levi and his friend before Sunday?
Well i did get to fix all of his fuck ups, i cost me a new tranny the second day of owning the car(but it actually didnt cost me anything mazda paid for it) but i did have to buy a new MSP ecu which is like 500 bucks, so that part sucked. I would say it took about 3 months of me owning the car before i got all the parts i need to get it legal and running right. Im still messing with his horrible wiring job.
K ill let you know, and we all went to PTI me and his buddy john graduated together and levi was a quarter behind us and i work with his buddy so to answer your ?? lol, yes i knew them before the meet. But i met levi maybe a month ago.
I know exactly how you feel about previous owners.
My Jetta for example. My heater core went out, and I had the fun adventure of taking the dash out and ripping through my engine bay for a day. Discovered that the car’s wiring was messed with badly, and the dash was cracked from being pulled out before. A lot of missing bolts in necessary places, cut up wires, and a piss poor job done on the wiring for the radio.
Vacuum lines were disconnected, a shitty tapped in wire for an aftermarket tach (i found holes for it on the dash too…), and a missing bolt for a ground.
But hey, thats what happens when you buy used and abused cars. Should have my 16v swap soon

The guys at MR. tire took longer then i thought and i need to sand down the one eyelid cause the fiberglass was goobed up on the inside so it doesnt sit flush, but they will be on soon enough lol.
That’s one place I’ve never been to. I’ve eaten at every other restaurant in town, but not that one. I might have to try it.
