I just think it is the ultimate form of hypocrasy that so many of you guys are concerned about his ‘joke’ which everyone here is in agreement that it was in bad taste when you have spokespersons like Rush and Coulter who say shit like this and mean it all the time.
The fact is that all of you Obama haters out there will hate him regardless of what he does, you will always find something not to like about him. And I know that some of you think that everyone on this board that supported him is just a blind follower but to be honest I have seen a more than a few Obama fans on this board, including myself, criticize some of his points. He’s not perfect and he will make mistakes, and I along with most of his supporters will call him out on them. I wish you guys could appreciate that and follow suit but you are so blinded by your party lines that you never will.
You guys are truly sad and pathetic. Having a difference of opinion is not a crime but when you completely shut out ideas and the points of view of other people you end up looking like conservative zealots.

You are at work at a meeting with your boss, some coworkers, and a potential business you are trying to woo. Everything is going fine and your boss tells an off color joke that offends Jews.
How do you react? How does your coworkers react? How does the potential business react?
Image is everything. And when you are the most powerful person in the USA, then you are representing all of us that live here.
And to answer your question, I would have made my same statement if McCain was president too and said the same thing. There’s nothing I can do. He’s in office for 4 years. Good luck, and try not to make us look like idiots.

Oh and retard is offensive to people. I worked with SABAH as a volunteer for over 10 years. They don’t like the word. They use words like handicapable instead to erase the negative stima.

Without reading the whole thread, word. There are a lot more liberals on here than conservatives. There are a lot of people in here making excuses for Obama that would be first in line to crucify Bush.

I was not personally offended. I laughed and then groaned that he was going to catch a shit storm for it.

Its actually a funny joke, this country has gotten way to touchy with what people say, or I should say, the loudest people in this country seem to be on the far left or far right, with the people in between watching and wondering what the point of the News is anymore.
I always thought the touchy people were on the left side of the spectrum, but it seems people just want to hate something new every week.
