The cause of the problem isn’t important, the solution to it is.
I’ve been getting many complaints about the error on the site, and it doesn’t make me happy by any means.
The problem comes with either temporary re-installing this software on the new server and then upgrading to vB later on or dealing longer with errors while vB is being completely and correctly setup, which could take weeks even after the switch.
the site has been pretty good this week… until after 2pm yesterday and all this morning so far.
Every action I do (whether it’s signing in, clicking a post, replying) errors out. I’ll click on the thread, the shift site will return an error, I go back and do the same thing again and it’ll work. It errors when I sign in, but yet I still get signed in. It errors when I reply to a thread, but the message is still posted. It happens every single time.
"Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator. "
