“All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. All carbon fiber products will not sustain any force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force or weight. RaceReady has made an effort to offer all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit.”
CF headlight covers for HB S13?
Where could I see the prices and picture of an S14 hood :)?
The s14 hood looks exactly like your stock one but in light weight carbon fiber. Cost is $600 or so. Pm MrSkinny for more info.
hey vince, do we have to use hood pins? and why?
With any CF hood you dont have to use hood pins but it is recommended. Most hoods have a latch riveted into them which is fairly strong but its still fenerglass not metal so at high speeds you are taking your chances. 95% of the time you are ok but theres that 5% chance it can come up on you. If you do any track driving I wouldnt even think about NOT running them IMO.
