It was well over due. I spend at least 100 hours a month in the office, so money well spent. Jeller and I bought Jagermeister’s seats out of the Corrado (which were actually out of Jeller’s RX7) hacked up the bases of the office chairs, a trip to the Metal Supermarket later and there they were!

So far it’s awesome. I kept the reclining fearture working, the hight and tilt adjustment, and so far it’s much better than the crap we had before.

Nice work. I did this a while ago. One thing that you might notice though, is your back will start to hurt if you aren’t leaning back all the time. This is because of the way the car seat raises your legs a bit. I’m going to change mine so that it’s tilted forward to make the bottom of the seat horizontal.

I kept the tilt function on mine, so I actually do have the bottom flat, and the recline feature still works.
