I have to agree with the engine covers these days, it is going too far. Yes it does look cleaner but I can tell you out of experience when a Audi or VW is taken in for service or repairs that involves taking the plastic covers off they charge you by the book and in the book it gives the mechanic 20 minutes to take the covers off and that is 20 minutes that get rounded off to 30 minutes that you are paying for even if it only takes 5 minutes. So if you ask me I would rather have no covers on my engine it might not look as clean but hey at least im not paying extra to have them removed and put back on and I can see what is going on with my engine. Then again that’s just my opinion.
