I’m done for the year. I was blowing through the converter pretty hard yesterday. First pass 9.25@148 leaving soft because I was having transbrake issues. I turned it up a bit, and the car slammed the converter pretty hard, revving to 6500 instantly. I thought the tires spun, so I shifted into 2nd at the 60’, it went to the limiter again, so I ran with it and still ran a 9.62 @151. The car would not leave hard at all, I usually run 1.35 ish 60’ times. If I went on the normal 60’ times I may have run the magic number. Mindless has a video of the first pass.

But then the car fell on it’s face in 3rd and 4th gear because of the cap n rotor being spanked. You can I was off about 6mph in the 1/8th but still had an awesome ET int he 1/8th.

Car is currently parked awaiting a turbo rebuild. I discovered a huge crack in the manifold at the wastegate and the boost reference line had a huge hole in it as well so I was down about 5psi from usual and the car was super laggy. Stepping up from an 80 to a 125 shot for next year and fixing those issues. I’ll lighten the car a bit over winter but mostly focusing on new wheels/tires/safety.
