Good meet, first big one iv been to, turned out ok, after 600k on the car and 1 1/2 tanks of gas i think it was worth it, but all the brake checks scared me alittle, someone almost rear ended me goin to no frills. i seen whoever it was lock em up behind me but yeah, all in all pretty good meet. looking forward to another

Liek every said, it was great and thanks to those who organized. The black Kouki going toward oncoming traffic and then locking up the brakes JUST missing the Civic that was coming the other way scared teh shit out of me though

that would be theo, and theo is a maniac. but we love him for it

Excellent meet! Thanks to Bing and everyone else that made it possible. Lookin forward to the next meet!

Other then the $80 in gas to follow everyone in the Durango…it was great

car: stock 91 black s13 also the 06 Durango

awesome times.

definately looking forward to more.

anyone know what happened to the red hatch with the sr20 when we pulled over i that parking lot on the parkway?

the guy was fiddling with his injectors and injector harness.

bing, you shuld throw together another one. an annual meet is good, but twice a year is better.

had 2 last year and that was awesome

i spoke with bing briefly about 2 this year and he said it wasn’t gonna happen but I say we all bug him till he gives in. ya?

yes i say we need another same as last yr, i couldnt make to this meet cuz my stupid toe link broke on saturday night

Thnx Bing for setting up yet another great meet =]

Nice to see everyone again

M

its not totally unlikely that another one will go down, but i just cant even think about it right now.

in teh next 3 weeks i have my CMA exams, F1 Montreal, Indy Toronto, and other obligations for car meets and music festivals to assist with.

im getting married in October and have to do my fair share for the wedding as well.

also, i dont wanna keep doing the same thing over and over again, we have to keep getting better and better.

this meet is going to be hard to top without adding siginificant risk.

to be honest, i much preferred the relaxed atmosphere on the roads today rather than when we are going hard.

its easiest for me to coordinate something here because i live here, so if we are going to do something that takes place anywhere else we need more people to step up and put these things together.

TMP wouldnt let us on the track on saturday night but they gave me their card and offered us a break on a road course day.

i am thinking it would be sick to have the road course for a whole day, have like 3-4 BBQ’s going and just do a really relaxed track event / social.

whats hard about 4 hour track events is that people are scrambling to get their cars on the track, break, go back on. if we were there for 8+ hours you could be more sporatic with your track runs and take your time off the track, have a hamburger, beat up sasha, go back on the track, repeat.

iono what else we could do, hire some clowns or something

^^^ except for the clowns that sound like a great event to me, we should do something like that i would be in for sure, what type of track day would we be getting tho drift, grip,…?

if we had the track for that long we could do a bit of both, tier people into heats dependent on track experience and what they’ll be doing.

example, dont have first timers on there with Sasha and dont have anyone on there with jesse.

i’m also one of the “newbies” who joined you guys yesterday, only because my kingston buddies came up and i wanted to tag along (i’m the one with the black 350z).

but yes, the meet was well organized and aside from a FEW people who might have caused unnecessary attention (mr. let’s do a burnout in oncoming traffic, or mr. let’s lock up our brakes while trying to blow by ppl in oncoming traffic) i was surprised that we all respected each other enough to make going in and out of parking lots w/o much hassle, kudos to you all.

ps. i’m not bing, unless you want me to be bing for the day (inside joke from sq1)

nothign wrong with a few burnouts as long as its safe =P, lifes too short anyways

but it wasn’t, he didn’t look like he had control of it (hence why he ended up in oncoming traffic) with cars coming at him and so on, either way it was a pretty safe day surprisingly with a lot of great people and nice cars.

Thanks to all involved, We all had a great time. Good to see so many cars come out.

^^^ is that after the warehouse stop? cause altho i love burnouts he did look like a little in the middle of the road

yep, i forgot what road we were on, but he did 2 burn outs, the first one pushed him into the oncoming lane and he did a 2nd one after, i don’t mind burn outs myself, but imagine what would have happened if one of the oncoming cars fast around that bend … head on collision with a stationary vehicle = very bad accident.

i was in the car that did the 2 burnouts.

no worries, the guy driving is a super experienced driver, been doing track for as long as ive know him. i knwo thats not an excuse but it might help ease some people’s minds.

the second brunout was a result of a camera man wanting to catch it on film. it was never intentional.

i didnt see the one where the guy had to lock up the brakes. definately heard it way back tho.

all in all tho, great meet. fun times, fun people, i thought the cruise was gunna be boring but it turned out to be pretty fun.

cruise night in the falls was just plain hilarious.

some mint cars showed up to bings. i was quite impressed.

We already have a few clowns in here! You know, like people who like to drive like jackasses during the cruise and like to do burnouts on gravel when there is other cars behind them…(im glad that wasn’t my car behind him, I would of killed the guy).
