Not ready to commit & pay, but I am going to shoot for it.
There is no payment made until you get to the track. We’re not taking any money for any of this. The registration is just a headcount.
how late did you guys stay last time?
Left around 5pm. you could stay I believe a little longer. Its worth the money. you can do pass after pass if you want. their is time where noone is going down the track and you can come from the return road and get right back on if you really wanted to.
As for the amount of cars… either there will be some nice cars, or you will find your shit box 20 puerto ricans in crx, civics…etc thinking they have a sick crazy car. either way, it is definitely worth the experience to see this track in person and go down it.
Lucky has lights! He said we could run them into the dark if we wanted, but that’s a LOT of track time.

About how big is that fastest RWD plaque? I need to make some room for it in my office.

lol, I can make more plaques… or do you think it would be better to make some sort of trophy like the Stanly Cup that gets transferred to the fastest? It would make people have to defend their title, lol.

That would just have to help the turnout of really quick cars. You know people would get into it.
And so as not to scare off the slower folks (like me), everybody needs to understand that you don’t need to run 10’s to have fun.
Now, I had another thought…actually, my wife did, related to this upcoming event. So, when we got there this last Sunday, there were already folks there, who I believe stayed overnight. So, Josh, next time you speak with Sir Lucky, can you ask him about an overnight deal? What’s his policy on a small-ish bonfire? Could be fun. Oh, and we’ll be sleeping in my drag car.
prior and his crew spent the night and had a bonfire, so i dont think it would be much of an issue.
Personally, camping isn’t in the cards for me as 99% of the time my Saturday nights are not free. But if others want to I’m sure they’ll be cool with it.
Prior had his full camper / trailer, but I think yeamabu stayed overnight too…? Did you guys sleep in the trailer or pitch a tent?

And this will have some restrictions:
- Trophy goes to fastest car
- Username gets written on the trophy
- Car must be registered & inspected (street cars only)
- Winners must be NYSpeed members with X number of posts (no random “ringers” not from around here)
