How far out of your way is the gas station stop? That’s really our only stop. And once we’re in the hills, cell reception gets shitty so we can’t really communicate well.

I’ll look again, but I thought I still had videos from the last cruise if anyone at all wants to go through them. They didn’t turn out as good as I hoped they would due to camera to ground distance which makes the speed seem so slow.
I’m down for this now. No plans to be out of town and I can bring the pups.

An hour south…I’m pretty much at the most southern part of the route. Cell reception is OK around here but I imagine I’ll probably notice a large group of cars going by and can catch up easy enough.
BTW, I got an AR.drone for my birthday so as long as I can learn to fly it without sucking we might be able to get some cool video with it.

Oh nice! I’d love to see this. I’ve considered getting a drone for some video shots, but I still don’t own a camcorder at the moment. I’ll be filming on one of the Lumia 920s Nokia sent me.
You’ll be fine. If your car is 1" from the ground, then you’ll scrape. My car is 1.5" and I didn’t have any difficulty
Well right now I suck at flying it (ended up in a tree last night) so unless I get a lot better by this I don’t know if an area with giant gorges is a place to test it out. 
I’d be up for trying it out some other time thought if you have a shoot in a more wide open area if this meet doesn’t work out.
