I had a pretty fun time rocking the Dart with everyone else. Other than being painfully slow, it proved to actually handle quite nicely. Thanks for the good times everyone. Had a blast.
if i’m you and keeping that car i would be particular about where and how it gets fixed. take it somewhere you can check on it before primer. the fast way to do that repair is by using a stack of body filler… the proper way is to pick the panels back out and just use body filler to finish it.
go grab a bumper and the trim pieces. there is a solid day+ on that rear quarter but it’ll look new.
It was a great time. I had fun driving down behind the black Forrest all road. He kept a great pace so we could have fun but not lose anybody.

Sucks being the one to bump this from having such a blast last year, to missing this years. I hope someone got a lot of photos. Any other issues besides the guardrail this year? Any cops thing teenagers were driving the S6? lol
Sorry I missed out too, but I had a ton of stuff to get done in the yard/garden. I was also pretty damn beat from 2 bachelorette parties and a wedding. Next time!

when we were ripping up through some hard esses a lady was out with her dog and stopped and smiled and waved at us while i went through at maybe 2.5X the limit… i love america.
Yeah, the roads were fantastic. And not a single cop on the second half of the drive. The video I have is about 1:20 long, so I need to start clipping. Only a few pictures, but I’ll get those up also.
I know a guy who knows a guy who might have some people with body shops if you need help. That is a cool car, shame it got wacked.
Ha, we waved as well. Thankfully she was smart enough to have her dog on a leash unlike the “field” worker down the road.
This was a great meet. I Definitely had a good time and so did the pups. They were dead the for the whole car ride home.
And btw, those burgers were really friggen good. :tup:
It was basically understeer, then snap oversteer, then oversteer the other direction into the guardrail. The worst part is that when I looked at my GoPro after I pulled over, it said SD card full!
