from what i recall it was some mid-eastern wedding where they always fire shots into the air. this guy had just fired a round into the air and put his gun down. next thing his kid has it and you know the rest. Don’t know what the guy’s thought process was…the only thing i can think of that is semi-logical is that he thought the gun was empty.
And I even found a news article. The guy died.

Why was he shooting real bullets into the air first of all? and second of all why does the camera man not say/do anything? Crazy vid.
It’s a cultural thing. Guns are fired into the air in celebration at weddings, etc.
Fail.
