Pretty sure I read somewhere that it was all pre-recorded. As far as I’m concerned I think Tom Petty is great. That said the show was a huge band-aid due to the previous years failures.
As for being a Giants fan and loving the Pats losing as well… The Patriots as a team, were robotic pre-rehearsed assholes the entire season. They’re reactions showed fear and depression when they were in danger of losing where as other teams are upset/angry/sad. Even if it wasn’t the G-Men doing the deed, it was very satisfying to know they lost the most important game of them all… especially after accusations of them cheating and them throwing bullshit red flags like the 12 men on the field not only vs the Giants but against the Ravens as well.
