sorry but you couldnt pay me to drive 90+minutes to that mess of an event. Its hard enough to go to test and tunes with decent track conditions let alone a ricer/street car shootout full of idiots on street tires dragging water up the track.
I think it would be cool if we could find a place to do street digs. I have heard that there used to be a place called liberty that some of you older guys used to use. Going back to that place or finding another one would be cool i think
Yeah wasn’t it also on a weekday? That time of year i am doing Landscaping 8-9 hours per day, not about to drive out that way. If any of the Rochester guys in my “league” want to race, i am ready.
i would have liked to race some of the rochester guys, but as i said, i was hesitant to go to rochester, and they werent exactly coming here so it didnt happen. i am 100% positive i would have pulled emery pretty hard on the street this year, and anybody who cruised with me or raced me this year im sure would back that statement up. call it bench racing if you will, idc, the car was freakin fast and it was only on the wastegate 90% of the time. i think emerys car on the street this year was more comperable to my car on the street with my last setup
that being said, i give props to emery’s achievements at the track :tup: sincerely. his best times at the track this year, i have no shame in saying would have probably beat my best times. in my defense, the way my car was setup would have sucked at the track, and i had absolutely no interest in going. it was far too frustrating to get this pig off the line, but im rather confident i have the remedy for that
this year i definitely want to enjoy the track, definitely. i am making the car more track friendly, although im leaving a lot of the street friendly luxuries in the car. hell, im adding a system… i have no idea what emery is planning,… for all i know hes going to make a run for deep 8’s. idk, and idc, all the power to him. ive said it before, my goal is to hit 9.5, which coincidentally i BELIEVE beats the turbo t56 ls1 record, which is pretty weak if you ask me. but that only goes to show the difficulty these setups have at the track with a T56. if i wanted to build a track monster car to “decimate all” i would do it, and it would be a totally different setup. i’m only willing to go so far with converting the car, and i dont care to dick around with people from this stupid site.
