Official who do you want to race/see run in '09

Mine does too. I do better on the street N/A and with a bottle… My car skates a little at the track with my drag radial.

sorry this is a n00b question, but how fast can you run before u have to get ur car caged?

will ya make some time for me if i get my shit up to par??

not looking for a slow dance:mamoru:

of course you and I are going to line them up!

11.50 at NYIRP and 7.50 at Lancaster

these threads arent as fun as they used to be… and the “new drama” is just lame

Should be an interesting year for the F-body’s, plenty of surprises and rebuilds.

Any dumbmestics from a dig… wait i did that wrong from a roll… no no fuck that im sticking to dig

+1

my pleasure  better up that boost!!

Not to mention the new 2010 SS’s roaming the streets! I happen to know of a fellow racer who will be getting his hands on one!

lol, better dial in the camaro. been a while since youve been to the track.

Honestly though i would just like to go sub 10.5 id be very happy with that alone.

turn up the boost. I left you some headroom in your tune. just listen for detonation. you need a larger turbo though.

itll be ready for track duty… …only thing more i need to get is some bigger tire, but i want to see what the hoosier 335/17’s can do first before i go drop some loot…

next problem will be whether or not the drivetrain can take what im prepared to put to it… :ohnoes: … all in all im predicting starting low 10s off the bat then slowly chipping away as i get the car dialed in. when the car starts to plateau ill start to add boost (starting on the wastegate, MORE than enough for 9s). when it ran 10.9, that was shakedown runs and the suspension sucked and was hardly dialed in. plus the 1/8th was horrendous … and with about 200hp less.

if i can get the car to 1.6 or better 60fts, good things will happen. i definitely have some remedies up my sleeve that should correct this issue rather quickly

i think you will find it considerably harder to dial in a suspension when making that much power. However you do have the advantage of wide tires. Im stuck to 26x9.5’s and week axles/trannys.

Besides mindless and Andy B where are all the honda kiddos hiding?

i dont think the width of the tires is helping me much. in fact i think i’d be benefited more with skinnier tires on the rims i have. i wont lie, i opted for the larger tires because they will look BA!!!

im definitely starting on the wastegate to dial this car in. my guess is that it will be around 725-775rwhp… we are going to the dyno around march/april… then its all chassis time up until the summer. im going to get conservative on the timing/fuel. i have a TON of power on tap…no use lifting the heads or detonating

id love to get some big track tires… only thing stopping me is that i dont know what the future of my rear end is… i may need a stronger setup, in which case im shortening the axles, and would need different wheels anyways…so im going to hold off for a while… plus i really need to stop spending somewhere. im doing this build within a budget i wanted

I want to run some lightly modded f-bods and mustangs, and of course any other boosted imports that aren’t too quick.
