Oh the silly era that was the 80s.
I think Honda was on an acid trip for about 5 years in the late 70’s/early 80’s. They built a few motorcycles with automatic transmissions too.
i think it’s pretty rad…never heard of a factory boosted bike before…
Honda made:
Auto bikes
10 speed bikes (dual 5 speeds)
Turbo bikes
straight 6 bikes
Pure awesomeness
They must have let Kawasaki have a hit. They made an I6 too, right around the same time.

11 second 1/4 on that thing must have took some bravery.
There are a few other Turbo bikes as well from the era, whole lot of crazy Japanese insanity from that era.
That CBX is bad as hell. 7 feet long and five feet wide :lol:

I met a guy who had a Suzuki 500 turbo in Rochester. He chased me down one day in the FD. Apparently most manufacturers experimented with a 500 turbo at one point…he brought his over from Germany.
Love the rims on that turbo.
