Not really all that track friendly, will crack under heavy use. My buddy who has a 997 Turbo w/the Carbon/Ceramic brakes was told specifically not to track the car with them. They are great on the street though, virtually dustless. The hat appears to be hard anodized aluminum judging by its surface.
Their full race Carbon/Carbon counterpart is the real deal… but also make lots of carbon dust.
