well the car prob cost $500, used Ls1 maybe as low as $800, other mods= maybe $500 if used, if you do the labor yourself= free

I think your budget is a bit low. :lol:
He was blowing the dudes at the junkyard if he got an $800 LS1. What about the transmission? Mounts, fuel, cooling…
I wonder where that happened. It’d be tough to find a car like that up here without rot all over it. It’s probably lighter than most LS1 cars stock anyway…
LOL,he says it weighs 4000lbs or so with him in it.I guess 13.0 isnt too bad for what it is.
LSxs into Malibu’s are much better,they weigh 800-900lbs less and have a really big after market.

I’d like to put a LS1 into my malibu wagon …if I dont put a sc’d 3800 in it.
Ls7 in a gremlin, with cut outs. Now that would be a sleeper.
Or better yet do like my cousin and build a 426 hemi for it.
Car is also mini tubed.

That gremlin is pretty sweet, but hardly a sleeper in the typical sense.
The factory shift pattern on those was pretty awesome though. :tspry:
