first computer i ever used was a comodore 128 and loved playing secret weapons of the luftwanfe sp? that shit was insane. First computer i actually had was a 386 ran at like 2mhz and had 768K mem with 8 of the small ram sticks anyone remember those lol, and had a whopping 30mb hdd and a monochrome monitor haha. ran dos like its job.

also just remembered a story haha. I had a 486 dx2 66 and begged my dad to buy me the amd 100. He finnally did and I put it in made my voltage bus and speed modifications with the jumpers lol and ran it for 1min. Next thing I know it shut down and started smoking. I realized that the processor had craked and was really upset. Then i saw a message under the specs that was actually the only readable part. Heatsink and fan required. My dad was sooooo pissed. Other things i remember however

  • When the memory standard changed to simm
  • When the memory stardard changed to dimm - was pissed cause i was like I cant use my old shit no more damn.
    -Memory changed from sdram to ddr ram same raction as above lol.
  • First 1GB hardrive was like 800 bones and was like what is anyone going to do with all that space lol.
  • Getting my first windows 98 computer my dad bought from some guy I think it was cirus 233mhz cpu with 32mb ram ad 3gb hdd I was in my glory I was able too play worms.
