Not sure how aware you all are with the history of Nissan. Specifically, the Silvia has been around for a long time and I thought you guys might enjoy this very nice example of the early Silvia…looooong before an S13 or even an S12.
It is relevant for me because it is based on the roadster frame and uses a lot of the same components including the 1600 engine.

Nice, I’m not a huge fan of old school whips, but that’s a sweet little ride.
Fan or not…to each his own…this is about giving props to the origin of the vehicles we currently drive (more or less). If you follow the evolution of Nissan’s vehicles and especially the use of parts from one car to another (some say lazy some say brilliant) it is pretty cool how things morph from one car to another over the generations.
Cool factoid, did you know that the 350z vents fit the 510 vent openings?
That is a cool ride. With a little TLC that thing would be a head turner. Nice find Dave.
love it! needs a nice motor in her now!
I think you’d be hung if you did an engine swap on that car! They are beyond rare and chopping one up for a swap would be a real shame / disapointment. I think they only made about 500 or so of these.
old school silvia + RB25 or SR20 would be super awesome and fun to own.
Good Find.
I like it. It looks to me like a short Corvair.
