Old School WWF Guys

Yeah seriously lmao… I hear Armageddon (ppv) is coming to HSBC in December… I wanna go!!!

Bunch of noobs in this thread… lol.

The Destroyer… a great friend of mine. I’ve known him since kindergarten.

I’ve met probably 30 or so wrestlers… DDP was a douche… he is really the only one I didn’t like.

I remember picking up “Calgary Alberta Canada”'s greatest wrestler’s US Championship after he put the canadian sticker on it. I wrapped it around my waist for a picture… he almost flipped the table over. Until I told him I wasn’t going anywhere with it. I have a bunch of pics with a bunch of guys in this thread… good times.

Marc Mero/Johnny B Badd - Broke my dad’s nose in a bar fight. He is also from Buffalo.

My social studies teacher was Lex Luger’s cousin. Flexy Lexy was from West Seneca. I was the first person to ask my teacher if there was any relation because nobody really knew Larry Pfohl’s name.

Hulk Hogan is one of the few I’ve never met 1 on 1 that I really want to. I might have to pull some strings and make it happen before he dies.

Honky Tonk man and Virgil were at the disco, my brother met them.

NWO 4 L

Ahhh Booker T… one half of the Harlem Nights :mamoru:

At the disco last weekend?

yes.

I went to almost every event when it was WWF. Doink the Clown, Papa Shango, Crush. Hell I still have my foam razor for Razor Ramon

Remember the pillow dolls? Those were badass.

How about the 8" hard rubber dolls?
The “thumb wrestlers”?

I have I believe 10 of the original 8" rubber dolls and the wrestling ring. They kicked the shit out of my GI Joes

I really wish I could just start shaking violently and beat everyone’s ass.

i remember if a guy came out in the undercard and he didn’t have a nickname or costume…like they just introduced him as “Joe Smith”…he was soo going to lose.

Originally The Harlem Knights, became Men On A Mission

Harlem Heat

anyone see the jackass where butter bean and johnny knoxville boxxed in a department store and knoxville got knocked out?

knoxvilles laying on the ground bleeding and concussed and asked “is butterbean ok?”

does anyone remember when goldberg went on that run and was like 70 something and 0? i dont remember him working his way up, it seemed like he just poped up and was 30-0 one day. who ended up breaking that streak?

yeah, goldberg was king shit back then. He faded away just as quick too… the guy was a fuckin animal

we are the nation of domination… faruq or whatever his name was ha

i think bill goldbergs music made him badass

I loved wrestling when I was younger and still watchit when I remember or when I know that they are coming to Buffalo, that way I know what the hell is going on and not lost, because I try to go to all of them. I went to RAW last year and sat in the 9th row from the front, the seats sucked because of all the damn signs though. This time around (Dec. 14th Armageddon) I am sitting in Section 118 Row 1, that way all the signs and people are out of my way.

Favorite all-time wrestlers were The Ultimate Warrior, The British Bulldog, Stone Cold (can’t believe no one mentioned him), and Goldberg. Favorite tag team was the Legion of Doom. Favorite current wrestlers are Batista and John Cena.

Ok I’m done.

his streak of 173 wins and 0 loses ended at Starrcade 1998 when he lost his title to Kevin Nash after Scott Hall made a run-in and shocked Goldberg with a cattle prod

after stone cold and the rock epic battles, the wwf lost its magic. I remeber every monday night waiting to see what the rock (first the peoples champ to the corporate champ) and what stone cold were going to do. The best was when you would hear that crash of stone colds music and then he would crash the ring with beer and a zambone (sp)

EDIT: I saw when I was at Brockport college back in 2004 when the Ultimate warrior came to speak at the college about politics. All I can say is wow, he is fucked up. He almost beat up a couple of people and was demanding for an apology from someone for lauging at him. it was great.

Shawne Michaels and Razor Ramon ladder match was a classic.

sweet… see u there next sunday…

a few of my buddies and i are in floor 1, row 1.

and to all the haters who say wrestling is gay… YOU are gay, and don’t realize that it’s great entertainment mixed with great athleticism. sure it’s scripted, but so is virtually EVERY tv program, movie, play, or any other form of entertainment. hell even some “sports” might be… plus these guys get paid hundreds of thousands to be famous, stay in great shape, and KICK PEOPLES ASSES. how could you not want that job? lol
