SHENANGO TWP, Pa. – Emergency responders had to call a special-size medical helicopter to the scene of a car crash involving a severely overweight victim.
Medics were called to the accident on Route 422 in Shenango Township, Lawrence County, where police say two pickup trucks were involved in a head-on collision.
According to police, one of the drivers weighted more than 500 pounds.
Part of Route 422 was closed for about an hour while crews cleaned up.
The victim’s condition was not available.
