this video should be in the all that is man thread and then the thread should be stickied and closed.

Dear God.
starting at high $300k, up to $500k.
That was so cool. I wouldn’t mind spending a day at the track in that beautiful ride.
Jack has been on rennlist and pelican since like 2001, it’s not a singer build.
Edit: read page 2, Xander beat me to it.
I wonder how expensive it is just to buy the singer exterior body panels?
More than you can afford, pal.
Probably too much to entertain building your own singer type car I bet.
Probably more than nice 997
Singer uses carbon fiber, fiberglass ones should be much more reasonable.
You plan on joining the P-car douchebaggery?
X…
It’s the new 335.
:stickpoke: Go take Sams car for a ride
My garage is full, grams garage and driveway is full… I have no home for anything additional, so I try not to think about it.
:ohnoes:
It took me a while to get approved to post here, but… thanks very much guys. I really appreciate the posts.
Let me clear up some of the confusion.
A GT3 is slower than my car – I’ve driven quite a few of them. That’s not to say it couldn’t be made faster (anything can be made fast). But here’s a list of (mostly) stock performance cars and their best times at my track. My best time there is a 1:27.04. And if I got a decent pair of track tires, I’m sure I could get below that posted time for the Viper SRT.
It’s not a Singer. I’ve known Rob (the guy who founded Singer) since long before he started his company. I’m not sure why I said ‘put in the order’ for my car in the video. I bought it in late 1999. It was a bank repo that had been bought by a guy who owned a paint and body shop in Illinois. His deal was that he would only sell me the car if he could paint it first. Here’s what it looked like when I bought it. I couldn’t argue with the fact that it needed paint.
I re-did everything on the car, and crashed it badly enough on one occasion so that the tub itself had to be replaced. I think the car still has the original gas flap and a few other small pieces. I don’t do all of the work on my car, but I do a lot of it.
Here’s what it looks like now.
Petrolicious recently moved their video hosting to YouTube. So if you’ve had trouble seeing the video on an iPhone, here’s a link that might work for you:
Several P-Car guys will be happy with that post
And I’ve added the video from YouTube to the original post for those using iPhones.
