One Vintage V8 Alfa done better than the other...

My uncle has had a Green 1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal for years now. Pretty cool car, considering it was a V8 import, but it never quite ran right. So yesterday at the shop I spotted a Red one there too.

This is the site of the usual eary Fuel injected V8 mess under the green car’s hood.

So Jeller and I poped the hood on the Red one to compare…

OMG Webber Carbs all the way around!!! A much better way to do this!!! The car is a lot cleaner than the other one too, original paint, and everything was really clean.

I get back to my uncles house later in the day and asked him about it, and after some explanation hes like “you didn’t take it for a ride?” What was I thinking :ham:

X…

Can we drift it around the secret indoor race course?:snky:

i restored a 56 alfa. i love those cars.

Nice car the front of it looks mean with the lip. My dad happens to own an 86 spider on another note they can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Yeah, that’s a great idea!

X…

That’s hot

 i want that garage

blindfold me like batman did, i dont care. i am fiending. esp with the vintage races at the glen coming up.

i want a 194

I spy the R5 TURBO II just waiting for a rebuild…

Me too, but who’s got the time to wrench on other people’s cars? LOL

X…

Thats awsome, much cleaner then the Green one altho, there somthing to be siad about keeping it alll original.

Side not all those REALLLY old cars there and its the new Evo on the lift.

wow. i’ve never liked alphies till right now. pop a modern turbo 4 or I6 in ther FTW.

Bah work sucks cant see any pics

Most of the cars are RWD DOHC 4 Cyl. It would be an easy swap, but I’m not a big fan of swapping engines from on make to another, Except for the R5 Turbo 2 maybe.

x…

where is that shop?

i have no qualms about doing that.

In a never to be publicly disclosed location.
