My uncle has had a Green 1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal for years now. Pretty cool car, considering it was a V8 import, but it never quite ran right. So yesterday at the shop I spotted a Red one there too.
This is the site of the usual eary Fuel injected V8 mess under the green car’s hood.
So Jeller and I poped the hood on the Red one to compare…
OMG Webber Carbs all the way around!!! A much better way to do this!!! The car is a lot cleaner than the other one too, original paint, and everything was really clean.
I get back to my uncles house later in the day and asked him about it, and after some explanation hes like “you didn’t take it for a ride?” What was I thinking :ham:
Most of the cars are RWD DOHC 4 Cyl. It would be an easy swap, but I’m not a big fan of swapping engines from on make to another, Except for the R5 Turbo 2 maybe.
