Thats not true! I think that most people on this site who aren’t teenagers or under 21 do well enough to do more than just keep their cars going man! If you’re that tight for cash, maybe try driving a Civic until it can be afforded? I dunno dude. Theres NOTHING WRONG with being tight on cash, I know I AM TIGHT FOR CASH sometimes. But seriously, most people on this site can do more than just keep their cars running, it’s what they CHOOSE to spend their money on.
I guess i shouldnt speak for some people, but being 18, trying to maintain my car, buy mods, gas, blah blah blah, gets expensive, im happy with my SSR’s for now, there not Hellaflush, but there aight
imo it all looks good as long as its x8.5 or more on a 240sx just make sure ur rims are flush and not sunken . if its sunken it just looks just as bad as stockers. yes everyone has mb battles, as do i but they are decent x9.5 +15.
the ppl that have nice flush rims wont be reselling them. and if they are its cuz their out of the scene or parting the car. also EVERYONE KNOWS “most” ppl with s-chassis in ontario are broke ass poor ppl that cant save at least 1200$ to buy a decent set of rims so they dont bother posting them in these forums fs.
wen i started, i use to save a whole summer just to buy my first set of rims working $7 /hr lol so i cant understand excuses, its just diff priorities
you can never waste money on a good set of rims no matter where you are. im in oshawa and we got the absolute worst roads around and im rolling on buddy club p-1 racing rims, ive had no problems with them getting wrecked or anything from the roads
ya i figured…I post as Luap. I havent been on there for awhile since i totalled my track r6. Then i crashed my street r6 in the track. I’m taking a breather from bikes for a bit
Proper for racing, ZT proper, or hella flush proper? Ambigious much? I would like better rims at one point but it isn’t a priority in the slightest, and it’s a big hit here no matter how you cut it. It will hurt to buy them, nobody will buy your car with them, nobody will want your car without them, and nobody will give you an offer higher than 50% of what you paid if you try and sell them. If you aren’t in it for the long run it probably isn’t worth it, and with the way things are with S-chasis’, most aren’t.
A flaw a lot of people have is that they cannot see the end product. For example, a staged home can command a higher price and sell better than the same home if it were to be empty and barren. Why? Because people have trouble envisioning what it will look like completed. This is no different with cars. Also toss in the fact that everyone wants a stupidly cheap deal here I.e selling your shit for near free, and you have got an annoying sales problem on the horizon. Sure you can keep the rims and drop the price, but then it goes back to the home analogy. And if you’re stepping out of the game…sell your rims else where, like on a Z, RX-7. STi, Evo forum haha.
