Also, I was just skimming over how your PI (performance index) works and it’s so much better than the way SCCA breaks everyone into classes over a single mod.

Never heard of Grand Bend, 193 miles away from buffalo not too bad.

Grand bend is relatively new and was looked at as a location for a Dunnville-style replacement. For whatever reason it didn’t go through, then the next time I heard about it there was a track being built, lol.

Same idea though; an old airport turned into a track.

Grand Bend is a long time 1/4 mile track - drag racers have been going there for years. As a road track it just opened last year. Consider making the drive to Mosport GP or Shannonville (pro and long track) - those are weekends worth the drive!

Let’s see if I got this:

To compete you have to be a CASC-OR member, and do the licensing school, which is May 5th & 6th?

Is the school on July 28th also a licensing school, or just a Mosport orientation school?

Up to how many drivers could share the same car per event?

Great Questions, Jeremy. The schools are optional - not mandatory.

If you have an SCCA license already, I’m quite positive that will be accepted in place of a CASC-OR license. The CASC-OR level C license currently doesn’t require a school, just payment.

To participate in just one or two events, you don’t need to worry about membership or license. To run the full season, then you’d need to have a club membership (about $50 annually) and license.

Two drivers can share a car.
