My buddy used to work at Regals on Altamont Ave and more than 50-60% of total revenue came in from scrap.
The buddy on 47th (window front too) is high end. He doesn’t buy scrap but just buys as much as he can now due to the rising cost. It makes a lot of sense given the price keeps going up and up.
Yea, that entire area is like an expensive Canal Street. It’s even worse now as you said.
