Opening day at PRP 4/15/05 results

315 cars showed up so i only got in two runs. Both times i had intercooler pipes blow off right before i got through the traps.

Run 1: Shifting normal. Hot side pipe blows off before traps, as i coast through:

60ft: 1.68
330 ft: 4.860
1/8 mile: 7.42
mph: 97.79
1000: 9.574
1/4 mile: 11.403
MPH: 120.75

Run 2: Power shifting, (not letting off the gas) Hot side pipe blows off again, but makes it a little further:

60ft: 1.699
330: 4.77
1/8 mile: 7.26
MPH: 100.44
1000: 9.362
1/4 mile: 11.135
MPH: 128.22

There are definitely gains to be made when power shifting… im going to flare out my IC plumbing a bit more and get T-Bolt clamps on it. I think a 10.90 @ 130 is very do-able if i can get a clean run in.

wow

should I even waste my time going up there tomorrow?

Good times also.

those who seen it are lucky enough :blue:

Wheres the 10s?

just kidding nice times gentlemen

I wouldnt, i dont plan on going. They are expecting even more tomorrow.

Wow, awesome times :burnout:

qcr, i like that track better, less cars, and i knew for a fact, opening weekend at prp was gonna be nuts… not paying $15 for two runs

don’t start shit with those of us who have real jobs, that require us to put in extra hours.

something sounds fishy

I will be there.

1320----I was there, except it was the 16th, but no biggie. I watched your first run, don’t remember the 2nd. But damn! that car is quick. Do you live in Smithton by chance? I work at Dick’s Sporting Goods and I swear I see your car at a house along Fitz Henry Rd.

well you cant miss a neon rt with steelies on, so if you see me say hi

yes he does!

whats fishy about that?
