I ran a kinetik hc2000 for about a week it was better then my optima redtop with 1000CA.
You could buy mine and blow any optimas out of the water 
walmart battery in he sonata, red top in the monte ss, no problems, still has a a charge sitting in the garage for 3 weeks unstarted in the cold weather… idk
The yellow top that is in my DD right now, has a little history… all good. It started in a customer’s Lincoln Navigator, we pulled the system and he didn’t have room for the extra battery in his next car… said I could have it. So it sat on a shelf for a few years, then I threw it into the old Grand Cherokee for a while. then it sat for a while… dead on the shled so I trickle charged it and put it in a 98 Prelude for a few months. then it sat on a shelf for a few months. Then into my Old Taurus for about a year (however long I owned it) then it went into my Lincoln LS for over a year (again however long I owned it) and has been in my Dodge ever since… never a problem.
Now the “honda-sized” optimas… they never lasted a winter while the Del Sol was parked. but I also usually forgot to disconnect the battery thinking I was going to take it out again next weekend…
I don’t think I would pay the extra money though, if I didn’t have a system in the car.
