Or Trade: 2010 Volkswagen GTI 2-Door 6 speed

Looking to move on from this, more or less to bank some cash and get ready for a business opportunity.

Will consider trades + cash. Ideally a cheaper, reliable vehicle in the $3-5k range.

Price is very flexible for the time being with the issues stated.

Title has lien that can be paid off with lien release within 48 hours.

Mileage:
66XXX, will go up as it is daily driven.
Features:
Heated Seats
Touch screen satellite radio, factory installed
Bi-xenon auto-leveling headlights
Power moon roof
All other standard options
Tires all are around 5/32nds, TPMS sensors included but option has been disabled through CANBUS.

Major services:
Oil changes every 7500-10000 miles.
Replace rear brake pads approximately 15k ago. Still on original front pads.
Clutch and throw out bearing were replaced under warranty at Northtown at 31,500. (receipt)
ECU was replaced at approximately 35,000 under warranty by Basil VW. (will get receipt)
Intake manifold replaced under warranty at 56,000 by Basil VW. (receipt)
I also have a stack of miscellaneous receipts. Oil changes, tires, wipers, coil packs, etc. I had saved every gas receipt for the first two and a half years but ended up tossing those out.

Issues with car:

There are paint and body issues. Small dings on doors, was clipped on the rear bumper and small one inch crack in lower corner of front bumper.

CEL is on but intermittent. It is for a sensor on the radiator that cannot be replaced unless you replace the entire radiator. This about a $250-$300 part and I have not bothered to as it does not effect driving.

Steering wheel shows some wear. There are scratches on the touch screen display, does not effect use.

Price drop to $11,000.

nice car for the $

Thanks K. I did some searches on cars.com and for the most part, cars with around 100-110k go for around my asking.

Shit man what a deal. GLWS

Thanks! $11k or best offer.

Still for sale. No idea when I’ll be getting to the radiator, make an offer.

$10,600 or best offer.

if you were closer i would consider throwing out a number.

im considering the idea of a hatch for a daily

Don’t tempt me to drive to Cali, I could use a vacation anyways.

Bump, $10,000 or best offer.

$100 if you get someone in touch with me to buy it!

i just wish the exterior wasnt all messed up -____-

i know you had this thing all done up with air and wheels etc but was anything done to the motor?
has the drivetrain always been mod free?

clean carfax?

Car had minor bolt ons, intake, exhaust. Was running GIAC tune from Blackforest while those parts were installed. When I bought the car at 17k miles the car fax was clean. I have had no insurance claims so I would imagine that hasn’t changed.

i have debated on getting the exterior cleaned up just don’t have the time or a second car to drop it off for a couple of days while it’s done. Based on the lack of activity I may end up doing that to generate some interest but that would be reflected in the price.

so the car no longer has a tune or intake & exhaust?

is anything else considered a minor bolt on? (intercooler/bov/BT/etc)

any issues with overheating based on that bad sensor on the rad?

is that the only thing the CEL is for?

I would’ve made a healthy offer by now if that were the case and dealt with it being a 2-door.

Car no longer has intake or exhaust. Tune is still loaded to ECU but is inactive.

No other bolt ons besides the exhaust and intake.

No issues overheating or any issues even related to driving. The code it throws is for the G611 sensor. I had brought it to Basil VW and another independent shop and both said the entire radiator was needed to replace it. I also heard mixed stories of replacing just the sensor online but nothing credible to believe it can be replaced. It does not affect driving or the cooling system of the car so I have never bothered to replace it. I’ve driven to Syracuse, Erie, and Toronto without any issues while the CEL was on.

That is the only thing the CEL is on for and again it is intermittent. It is currently off right now and usually is far less frequent in colder temperatures.

The joys of going to college. Definitely frustrating when there would constantly be a new ding or mark on the car every week.

This is still a good deal. I sold mine for $14k a few months ago with similar mileage and options. GLWS.
