Ordered a custom plate...

You should add an MGW shifter

pretty interesting coolant hose connection, are those factory heat shrink junctions?

Off topic but… how do you like the Mini? I haven’t driven one of the new ones yet.

I bet it is going to sound angelic. Not the Mini

I want one but I was over my winter budget awhile ago though so it may have to wait a bit.

I actually need to re-route that hose, but I’m pretty sure the whole hose is rubber even though it looks like the T is plastic. It’s a factory hose though.

It’s actually pretty fun to drive. Its pretty quick for what it is and it handles well. I just got it a month ago so I haven’t been able to have too much fun with it on dry roads.

Quick update:

The song of my people.

wait did you get a 305 or 345 on the rear? you have a 19x12 rear wheel on the zo6

I went with 305 for a couple of reasons, I wasn’t aware the 345 would fit, they were almost $300 more, and they aren’t going to last very long anyways. I plan to put some Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the stock wheels mid summer/after I wear these down and get some different wheels for a 17" drag radial. This is assuming I don’t destroy the clutch before then…

If Nitto has tires in your size, save your money over the PSS. I have PSS currently on my Stingray and I am not a fan. They don’t deal with being too hot or too cold very well and they don’t wear great if you actually drive them aggressively. Mine have 4,300 miles and they’re damn near smoked. Plan to replace with Nitto for street/HPDE tires soon and get a smaller set of wheels for auto-x with RE71R. Just my two cents.

I didn’t take many pictures of the reassembly but here is what I have:

Dropped the pan to replace the gasket that was previously leaking:
