why the x brace?
I hvae the same question. Wolfe racecraft, SW, jegs, summit, and any other kit Ive seen that was for a drag setup never had the X but I believe I have seen it done but only in autocross cars?
just cause, sometimes its gotta be better than; Wolfe racecraft, SW, jegs, summit, Chassis works, and any other kits you have ever seen.

Why the halo over the rear section of the car?

Rear halo is to bring a mount point for the rear bars in closer together. Yet still maintain a mount to the main hoop at a wider point. Without making the rear bars have an ugly week angle to them. Plus I get to add more X’s.
X’s are like crack to me. I’d rob and kill my own mother for more X’s

So we’re lending some from pro stock, and some from other show cars. The lightes car possible/lowest ET isn’t the main concern. Regardless, he is going to be front heavy with the factory floors, front frame clip, and fire wall. Plus he’s planning on runnin full inner fenders, to keep road debris off the engine.
All n all; He will have a very unique, very strong, very fast car.

You want my honest oppinion on the yellow camaro? I thinks its fuckin gorgeus. The funny thing is I can only find a couple pipes different in theirs. I think we added a little more triangulation. Hell, if theirs is stiff enough for them, good. This isn’t a bare minimum cage. NHRA will let you down to 8.50 with a basic 8 pt cage. This is a, we cut the car in half now lets put as much bracing in as we need to make sure there is no deflection. I’m pretty sure Tom would be pissed if he spends all kinda money on paint and bodywork, and cracks the paint all the way down the quarters on his first launch.
Oh, and it will be doing some drifting as well. :doh:

i’m gonna need to get steve to cut me some of those brackets to mount the nitrous bottle on the cage like htat…DEF better than some other setups i’ve seen
